Idelic is an eco fashion label based on the principals of innovation, community and heritage. Taken from the old English word for “natural” the label specialises in combining the latest in natural ethical fibres with traditional techniques such as hand spinning, weaving and dyeing from plants. We love taking historical practises and turning them into something truly special and vibrant within modern fashion design.
The business is a complete ethical label by using recycled, organic, sustainable and fair trade materials in all our designs. Traceability is very important to us and we can confirm every supplier in the life cycle of our products, even to the artist in africa who hand makes our recycled glass beads or the name of the alpaca that provided our yarn. We are much more than the clothes we make through the nurturing of young design talent in our local community, to plans to establish a company owned fair trade co-operative in war torn Kashmir, creating employment opportunities for widowed families and supporting children into education.
